Rights Respecting Schools

We are a Gold accredited Rights Respecting School.

Our Rights Respecting Group achieved the prestigious Gold Award in September 2024, recognising our school’s strong commitment to promoting and embedding children’s rights across all areas of school life.

The group continues to play an important role in keeping children’s rights at the forefront of our community. They work closely with classes to share and reinforce understanding of rights, ensuring they are visible and meaningful throughout the school.

In addition, the group encourages pupils to think about how they can make a positive impact. They support learners to take action and make informed decisions that contribute to change, both within our local community and on a global scale.

Through their ongoing efforts, the Rights Respecting Group empowers all pupils to understand their rights, respect the rights of others, and become responsible, active citizens.
